Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority OUR HISTORY

The Supervisors of Northampton Township established this Authority in 1965 to provide a
dependable source of safe water and to provide fire protection.

The Authority was established under the 1945 Pennsylvania Municipality Authorities Act.

A Board comprised of five Township residents governs the Municipal Authority. The
Northampton Board of Supervisors appoints the members to staggered five year terms.
